I am currently in the middle of a three year Contemporary Fine Art Practice graduate course.
My art practice engages in a discourse with eco-critical, environmental, political and personal subjects. Although I have my own meaning in what I make there is plenty of room for the viewer to come to their own conclusions about the piece.
I work across a range of different media such as sculpture, installation, performance, film sound, photography and digital manipulation.
Artists, and movements I am particularly interested in are Joseph Beuys, Ann Hamilton, Ed Kienholz, Mike Nelson, Richard Long, Jannis Kounellis and Simon Starling. Arte Povera, Environmental and Land Art and Alter-modernism. I am also very inspired by the writings of art historians and critics Maja and Reuben Fowkes.
