My usual approach to work is in a spontaneous and unpredictable way which often involves using a variety of media. I also like to use acrylics and particularly enjoy the subtle and interesting effects of glazing, working layer upon layer. My background is in textiles and I am therefore drawn instinctively to colour, pattern and texture.
The size of my work varies although having experience of painting murals of varying sizes in both public and private settings, I am quite happy to paint on a large scale.
